The belt hook is carved to depict a crouching chilong grasping a lingzhi branch in its mouth, facing a dragon head. The curved shaft is later mounted with an inlaid metal fitting. The stone is of an attractive pale pink tone, shading to dark green. 3 ½ in. (8.9 cm.) wide. Estimate £10,000 – £15,000 ($16,810 - $25,215)
