The vase is of elongated cylindrical form with a long waisted neck. It is painted to the exterior in vibrant shades of cobalt blue with continuous scenes of various potted flowers and plants. There is a fan-shaped cartouche to one side containing a mountainous landscape with a scholar in the foreground beside a pavilion. 17 ½ in. (44.5 cm.) high. Estimate £15,000 – £25,000 ($25,320 - $42,200)
