Belonged to Emperor Nicholas II. St. Petersburg, beginning of the twentieth century. Firm Denisova-Ural (processing). Quartz; grinding, polishing. 

Quartz, unique in its size (more than three and a half pounds), transparency and color - smoky golden - was in the imperial property. It is mentioned in the inventory drawn up in 1922 at the opening of the Commission Gokhran boxes Palace property department evacuated from Petrograd to Moscow. So, in the inventory box number 143, he is named as a "nugget smoky topaz. It is kept in The Armory Fund of Moscow Kremlin.
