The stone with characteristic streaky inclusions and finely hollowed to form a cup terminating in an archaistic animal head with open jaw revealing its fangs and tongue, wood stand, fitted box. 11.4cm (4 1/2in) high (3). Estimate £2,000 - 3,000 (€2,400 - 3,700)
