The rich roiro ground embellished with kirikane and lacquered with cock and hen pheasants among wild plants, in gold and coloured takamaki-e with hirame highlights, the interior of nashiji, signed Kajikawa saku with red pot seal Ei; with carnelian ojime and modern wood manju netsuke. 8.9cm (3½in) high. Estimate £2,500 - 3,000 (€3,100 - 3,700)
