elegantly potted with a rounded square body surmounted by a slender waisted neck, set with two angled archaistic handles supporting mock rings, all raised on a stepped base of conforming section neatly detailed with knife-cut brackets along the sides, lightly applied on the body and neck with a blueish-grey glaze revealing the pale buff-coloured biscuit along the edges; 16.2 cm., 6 3/8 in.
