of double-gourd form, the generously rounded lower body tapering at the waist before rising to a compressed globular upper bulb surmounted by a long neck, the neck decorated with two registers, each with variously shaped cartouches enclosing floral and foliate motifs, the upper bulb divided into six wide panels alternating with thin strips, each panel enclosing large floral blooms, including lotus and peonies, all above the lower bulb with two further registers, each detailed with floral and fruiting branches within shaped cartouches; 54 cm., 21 1/4 in.
