Centre-front opening, of red velvet, the front panel featuring five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls, surrounded by clouds, bats and auspicious symbols, above mountains and crashing waves, the sleeves also featuring dragon and phoenix motifs, embroidered in gilt and polychrome silk threads, edged with embroidered black satin bands, lined with green damask silk. Sold for £275 (€345)
