rising from a flat base to broad rounded shoulders and surmounted by a short upright neck with wide rolled mouthrim, applied inside and out with a layer of whitish-gray slip and under a transparent glaze, the base unglazed revealing the white body, the domed cover similarly glazed, set with a bud-shaped finial, stand (3).
