Accompanied by GIA report numbered 5151344760, dated 3 December 2013, stating that the 23.15 carat diamond is D colour, Internally Flawless clarity; also accompanied by diamond type classification reports stating that the diamond is determined to be a Type IIa diamond. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency.
Further accompanied by a GIA Monograph 'The Legend of Golconda Diamond', stating that 'the Legend of Golconda's remarkably pure structure places it among the ranks of history's most prominent colorless diamonds, like the Koh-I-Noor and Archduke Joseph, which both originated from the illustrious mines...The current appearance of the diamond serves as a reminder of its distant past, evoking images of Indian royalty, the elusive mines, and opulence of the era.'
