Centring on a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 11.21 carats, flanked on each side by a shield-shaped diamond, the shank set throughout with circular-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.20 carats, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 6
Accompanied by Gübelin and AGL reports numbered 0907572 and CS 40052, dated 2 February 2009 and 9 September 2008 respectively, stating that the 11.21 carat sapphire is natural, of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. The Gübelin Appendix further states that this sapphire 'possesses a richly saturated and homogeneous colour, combined with a high degree of transparency, and a finely proportioned cut. Such a combination of characteristics is rare in natural Kashmir sapphires of this size.' The AGL report grades the sapphire as 'Exceptional - Excellent' in the Total Quality Integration Rating.
