The rectangular top framed on the sides with an upright fence carved with shou medallions reserved against a wan-diapered ground, resting on a waist pierced with elongated apertures, all above a base boldly carved in openwork with birds perched on thin twigs, the scenes detailed with pine blossoms, bamboo leaves and prunus blossoms, the edges of the panels carved to simulate bamboo shoots.
