Comprised of a square mirror cast with four beasts amidst grapevine surrounding the crouching lion knob, separated by a square border with birds, dragonflies and butterflies shown amidst further grapevine, Tang dynasty (618-907); a round mirror cast with veining of a lotus leaf radiating from a tortoise-form knob, Tang-Five Dynasties (618-960); and a small square mirror depicting four different erotic scenes, Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
