sturdily potted with a compressed globular body rising from a splayed foot to a tall tubular neck, applied overall with an olive-coloured glaze flecked with a fine golden-yellow mist, thinning to brown at the mouthrim, the footring dressed in a dark wash, the recessed base incised with a six-character seal mark beneath a brown glaze; 32.3 cm., 12 5/8  in.
