composed of two joined sections of tusk, worked in relief and in the round with hunting quadrupeds and birds, each side with gazelle heads, one emerging from the mouth of a tiger, the others carved in mirror-form, a spring-action levered steel stopper attached to top - 28.5cm.
Note: This powder horn forms part of a group of imaginatively and ornately-decorated carved flasks produced in Mughal India.
