the tapering body rising to rounded shoulders, surmounted by a short waisted neck with galleried rim, covered overall in a milky lavender-blue glaze with a bold violet-purple splash, thinning to a mushroom tone around the rim and stopping neatly above the foot to reveal the buff-coloured body.
