The model probably by J. J. Kaendler and P. Reinicke. On a base with sculptural flowers a japanese figure seated on a chair, a fruit bowl in her hands, at her feet a kneeling young boy. Gilded bronze mount with scrollwork and garlands, back-mounted filigree with little bells. Unmarked. Min. chips and min. prof. rest. Group h. 11 cm, mount h. 17 cm.
Note: The group is probably part of a group of japanese people designed by Kaendler and Reinicke between 1756 and 1763. Comp.: Berling, Dresden 1911, fig. p. 59.
