Each vase is delicately decorated to the exterior with five boys playing with cockerels and their young, surrounded by chrysanthemum stems and leafy vines with double gourds to one side, and large peony blooms beside goldfish swimming in a river to the other. The covers are moulded with a double peach finial and surrounded by further floral sprays. 8 7/8 in. (22.6 cm.) high
