the jar of globular form with a short flared neck and everted rim, supported on a solid splayed foot, applied with a white slip and a milky-white glaze stopping above the base revealing a white body, the interior glazed dark brown, the teabowl of conical form supported on a solid foot and shallow footring, applied with a lustrous black glaze mottled with russet streaks drizzling down from the rim, pooling in thick tear-drops around the foot revealing a dark reddish-brown body, the rim left unglazed and dressed in a brown wash - 16.3 and 12.6 cm., 6 3/8 and 5 in.
