The robe is embroidered with gold, blue, green, purple and yellow threads with nine five-clawed dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amidst cloud and fire scrolls, cranes, shou-roundels and Buddhist symbols above lishui stripes. The black gauze border, collar and horse hoof cuffs are similarly decorated. 52 3/8 in. (133 cm.) long.
