Thickly potted with a raised edge to the foliate rim and slightly recessed ribs along the curving interior and exterior walls, the floor of the well stamped with an indistinct roundel within an incised double band, the olive green glaze covering all surfaces except for a russet-burnt ring on the recessed base also etched in Arabic with the name of an owner partially reading Ravy. 13 3/8in (34cm) diameter
