Its wide curving well painted in shades of cobalt wash and outline with a dragon vigorously pursuing a flaming pearl amid cloud scrolls that continue on the exterior walls, the mark on the recessed base written in regular script within a double ring and all surfaces except the foot pad covered with a celadon-tinged glaze. 7 7/8in (20cm) diameter
