This bowl with deep rounded sides rising from a splayed foot has an everted rim and a bunch of well painted flowers, like lily, peony, crab-apple and camellia, which are all enamelled in different colour. They curl together in an organized way and layered by the green feathery leaves against a rich coral red ground. The inner side and base are plain white while an unusual four-character mark in underglaze blue and double square is inscribed to the base, highlighting the importance and position of this bowl among other Imperial pieces.
