finely potted with shallow everted sides, each decorated around the exterior with five lotus heads wreathed in scrolling foliage, between a 'classic' scroll at the rim and a border of ruyi around the base, the interior similarly painted with a medallion of lotus, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark; 9.9 cm., 3 7/8 in.
Provenance: Acquired from C.C. Teng & Co. during the 1990s.
