finely potted with deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a slightly everted rim, the exterior decorated with six upright petals formed of floral scrollwork divided by five sanskrit lança characters, the interior further painted with a border of lança encircling the inner rim and centred with a floral medallion, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark;  17.8 cm., 7 in.
