the arched gilt-copper sceptre elaborately cast on four sides with beribboned bajixiang, the white jade quatrefoil head worked in low relief with a bat grasping a cluster of peaches, the middle and lower plaque similarly decorated with the Buddhist Emblems, thread with red tassel; 32.8 cm., 12 7/8 in.
