The vase is decorated on the shoulder with four cranes in flight above a band of four rocks rising from crashing waves at the foot, and on the neck with a four-clawed dragon pursuing a flaming pearl amidst flames. A double circle in underglaze blue is on the base. 9 7/8 in. (25 cm.) high
