The jardinière is heavily potted and decorated with a bird perched in a wisteria vine above roses of various colors, both the vine and the rose branches extend around the sides, and the three characters, Dayazhai, beside a tian di yi jia chun (Spring throughout the heaven and Earth as one family) seal mark are in iron red below the rim. A drainage hole is in the base. 14 ½ in. (37 cm.) diam.
