The quadrilobed body is raised on a tall foot and is carved on each main side with a central taotie mask between leaf-shaped lappets below and ruyi-shaped lappets above. The neck is carved with pendent lappets and is flanked by monster mask and loose ring handles. The cover is of conforming shape and is carved with taotie masks and lingzhihandles suspending loose rings below the tall, quadrilobed finial. 11 ½ in. (29.2 cm.) high
