The box and cover are each moulded with two registers of chrysanthemum petals on the sides, decorated with slip on the cover with a central florette encircled by leaf motifs, covered with a transparent glaze of pale bluish-white tone extending partially to the base. 2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) diam., Japanese wood box
