the curved sides divided into six lobes and supported on a short tapered foot, painted to the exterior with four scaly dragons writhing amongst scrolling clouds and flame wisps in pursuit of flaming pearls, the base with a six-character reign mark in three vertical columns within a double-circle - 15.7cm., 6 ¼in.
Provenance: Collection of J. Dearman Birchall (1828-1897).
