Thickly potted with deep rounded sides, incised with vertical ribs imitating a wooden bucket, all beneath a handle simulating a gate, covered overall with a sea-green glaze except for a circle within the foot rim exposing the burnt orange during the firing process, with a two-part hardwood cover, Japanese wood box. 12cm (4 3/4in) high (4).
