Rising from a flaring foot, carved with chrysanthemums and feather-like foliage below a band of stylised scrollwork, the long cylindrical neck encircled by two parallel lines beneath the everted rim, applied overall with a greyish-green glaze, the unglazed footrim burnt orange in firing, Japanese wood box. 25.3cm (9 7/8in) high (2).
