the first with a central chrysanthemum flower encircled by three further blooms and attendant buds issuing from foliate scrolls; the second with a flared rim, crisply moulded on the interior with a lotus, pod and leaf tied with a ribbon; both applied save for the base with an olive-green glaze - 10.8 and 12.8 cm., 4 1/4 and 5 in.
