with shallow rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a lipped rim, carved around the exterior with overlapping petals with raised central ribs resembling a lotus flower, applied overall with a bluish-green glaze, save for the neatly cut footring left unglazed revealing a greyish ware burnt orange in the firing - 13.9 cm., 5 1/2  in.
