The ewer is delicately potted with a melon-form body rising to a narrow waisted neck below an everted lipped rim, set at one side with a strap handle with a small loop on top opposite the curved spout. The body is incised with stylisedruyi heads below the curving spout and the strap handle. It is covered overall with a pale whitish-blue glaze. 5 7/8 in. (14.8 cm.) high, Japanese wood box
