Convex round medallion with bildfüllendem "antikischem" Head of a Woman with sharply-cut profile, straight nose, deep-set eyes, protruding round chin, full rounded cheeks and open mouth. On the left side the inscription "VENVS" in gold. The goddess is only characterized by this inscription as such.
Characteristic of the paintings are small shades of gray and cloudy white highlights, which should probably mimic stone reliefs.
The head type with attached hair is characteristic of the figure style of the School of Fontainebleau, reminiscent of figures of Rosso Fiorentino, the Pierre Milan has razor designed by Léonard Thiry. SN
