Cylindrical parts of shaft and lid handle and reliefiertes crest cast. Border of the foot, the frame and the hoop of the lid is manufactured separately. Unvergoldet foot bottom. Brand on foot and on the lid margin. Laid-on sheet of frost cuppa with closure. Technically average work. - Lost parts of a sheet ring on the shaft. 
Slender, horizontal articulated Cup. Walk with twelve longitudinal humps and curved edge.Stem from cylinders in relief hump décor and symmetrical to discus Knauf arranged balusters. Flat leaf and fruit Relief. Stark pressed, squarrose cuppa with two rows of fifteen longitudinal humps, between constriction. Mouth edge with dentil decoration. 14x hunched lid. Cylinder (as shown below) on flat leaf wreath and hourglass, crowned by a small hemisphere handle with lifting the foliage. At the foot enameled kurbrandenburgisches and family coats of arms in relief of Dassel and Dithmersen. An engraved VIDE INFRA on border of the foot refers to a gilded, located under the foot round plate with Latin inscription, in translation: "In June 1586, the illustrious and great powerful lord and Elector of Brandenburg Johann Georg, after several days with his son Joachim Friedrich had lived in the house of Mr Ludolf von Dassel, given him the trophy for eternal memory. The same mayor of Lüneburg, Ludolf von Dassel, for its part, the highly laudable Senate of Lüneburg has donated to his eternal remembrance to him between the rest of the silver of the Council set up. The Lord Mayor himself has handed him barred Bursprache the Senate in person on September 28, 1606. " Under the same date of the Cup is listed in the addendum to the inventory of 1598 (C. 244). Ludolf von Dassel III, married Ilsabe of Dithmersen, since 1592 was mayor. He died 1609th.
