This little shoe, with a large bow and a square toe, made in the fashion of about 1665. The flower decorations, however, are derived from Chinese porcelain. Miniature Shoes pottery were well into the 18th century, very popular. For which they have exactly served, is not known; probably they decorated the table or mantelpiece.
