of slender baluster form, rising from a deep countersunk base to a waisted neck and lipped rim, covered overall with a thick green glaze with a web-like network of crackle, the glaze stopping above the footrim revealing the unglazed stoneware body burnt orange in the firing, Japanese wood box (3).
