The well-built bottle of flattened spherical form, with a waisted neck, slightly convex lip, oval foot ring, the interior glazed, skillfully painted on either side with a katydid in varied shades of green, purple, and black, their eyes highlighted in gilt paint, the recessed base with the four-character mark in iron-red. 2 1/4in (5.7cm) high
