thickly potted with deep, gently rounded sides rising to a slightly incurved rim, applied overall with a rich lavender-blue glaze, thinning at the rims to a mushroom color, stopping unevenly around the foot revealing the pale orange body, Japanese wood box (3). Diameter 3 3/4 in., 9.5 cm
