of bean shape, the concave top carved through the layer of creamy-white slip to the buff ground with a ribbon-tied bouquet of lotus flowers and leaves, all enclosed within a double-line border, covered overall with a transparent glaze stopping short of the unglazed base, the front pierced with an air hole. Length 10 in., 25.4 cm
