of almost spherical shape rising to a waisted neck, the lobed mouth resembling the calyx, painted under the pale celadon glaze with a flowering peony growing from behind a garden rock, surrounded by bamboo and grasses, the foot ring coated with an iron-wash. Height 6 1/4  in., 16 cm
