Set with an oval jadeite cabochon of high translucency and brilliant emerald green colour, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold. Ring size: 7
Cabochon approximately 30.08 x 19.23 x 13.07mm.

Note: Colour, texture and translucency are three main features that contribute to jadeites’ beauty. Jadeite with good texture has exceptionally fine crystals that are densely packed, which is the reason for it to appear translucent when light passes through. This quality is also known as ‘water content’ in the trade. Jadeite with high water content and fine texture is attractive even if its colour is slightly too light or too deep, however, if the jadeite is lacking water content, thus translucency, its appeal and value may be greatly affected despite rich colour.
This important jadeite cabochon is an exemplary specimen of superb texture and translucency, with a soft glow and watery lustre which is remarkably rare for a cabochon of this size. As clear as a body of fresh and clear water, this top-quality jadeite will certainly captivate the eyes of discerning jadeite collectors around the world.
