The dish has angled sides rising from a flat base to a slightly flaring rim. The interior is skillfully carved and combed to depict a single daylily sprig, adorned with sketchily carved leaves. It is covered overall in a pale ivory glaze, brocade box.

Provenance: A Japanese private collection, acquired in the 1990s
