Each is of barrel form, carved around the sides with the Bajixiang, 'Eight Buddhist Emblems' tied with ribbons amidst cloud scrolls, between bands of ruyi-heads, the top is carved with swirling clouds pierced with a coin motif in the centre, all covered with a lustrous glaze of soft celadon tone, wood stands
