12 men from Wurttemberg survived the triennial captivity in France during the War of the Palatine succession. As a sign of fellowship, 12 rings with the names of the hostages were commissioned. The ring at hand belonged to the hostage Dr. Fischer and was in familiar property of his descendants until today. D. 2,4 cm
