the compressed globular body rising from a tapered foot to a narrow waisted neck sweeping up to a galleried rim, the shoulder decorated in black and white slip with three dotted florets between dots and vertical strokes, covered overall in a sea-green glaze suffused with a golden crackle; 7 cm, 2 3/4 in.
