The body is decorated with six large lotus blooms and scrolling foliage, above three tall cylindrical feet and a waited neck decorated with chrysanthemums and foliage, all below a domed cover similarly decorated between twin upright loop handles.
Provenance: The collection of Countess Karen Grote (1884-1963), who served as a missionary in Beijing in the early 20th century.
